I signed up not knowing that when you have a problem you can not get a resolution. so if you have money to give away then this is the company to sign up for but if you dont you better off getting QuickBooks. Beware of the partners they get paid not xero. Trust your finances to no online software because if they steal money from your account they tell you contact the person that stole it

I primarily use the web version of XERO, and it has been good for my business. I have the app, but it does have most of the features i use in my business. Please add creating POs and running reports to the app version.

I like Xero, but this app doesnt do much. For example, I cant even record a customer payment in it. All I can do is record receipts, upload files, and manage contacts. While recording receipts via a mobile app is useful, thats the only real functionality this app has. Very disappointing.

I tried the Xero online accounting service and loved the simplicity of it with all the features at a reasonable price. I subscribed to service thinking Id be able to do a lot with their iOS app but I was wrong. The only two things you can do is create an invoice and record receipts. This is a big miss for an accounting software for businesses. I should be able to view reports, track time on jobs, create estimates, send out invoice reminders, record payments, and reconcile transactions. Im hoping this is something in the works because I need to have these functions available on my phone in a native app. If something doesnt change then Ill have to pay more and go with Quickbooks.

The things I see here are promising, but currently it wont stay in on my 6s Once thats done, Ill use the app a lot more once I can send quotes on it.

App is free to download but costs $30 to do ANYTHING other than a fake demo.

Needs way more functionality

Lacks functionality. Balances are out of sync between app and cloud version. Basically this app has very little use - expected much more.

Only three things you can do with this app: reconcile, invoice, receipts. If the developer really dont have time to make a complete app, at least put manual journal in it, so it could do much more.

One thing the app really has to work on is their ability to add receipts to their expenses. Think they have it already in their features? Just try to upload a photo from your camera roll... if you can find it between every photo album and photo stream youve ever created.

Get an "unexpected error" when trying to sign in. Maybe related to 2 factor auth? Currently unusable.

Constantly get signed out of the app and have to go and get my password again. I use 1Password for secure passwords so I cant remember this. 1Password integration would be nice but at least remember the credentials especially if you have enabled Touch ID integration. Would be nice to be able to approve expenses, bills and invoices from the app rather than having to go to the portal to do this. Expense submission feature is quite good but if it wont remember your credentials its easier to log in to the portal through my Mac.

Helpful hint: if you offer 2FA, give the app a way to use it rather than just shutting people out. Well be switching to a different service soon.

Needs to be redesigned! The invoice section needs help, the ability to invoice and look up invoice is limited. If you invoice someone and add taxes to it online at a PC the invoice on the App doesnt show it. If I had to do it all over again I would go with sage.

The iPad app works decently, but the phone app needs improvement. I just turned on 2-step verification and cant log in to the phone app anymore. If all you need to do is check balances, this app will do, so long as you dont turn on 2-step verification Xero is great, though!

The app does exactly what I need and works well. I can upload my receipts with a photo and even recon my accounts. Nice interface and love the Touch ID support!

This app is only for categorizing book entries. Wow. As a business owner, if you think it will show u simple reports like income and expense forget it. Basic reporting is a must have. Need to see the health of my business from my phone while I watch the ocean and sip on my Mai Tai... QuickBooks app has it!!

Xero is great, but this app doesnt help me at all. Please add approvals so that managers can approve invoices, PO, Bills, etc via the app.
